With the Durango Casino & Resort set to open in just three months and with the finishing touches currently underway, the owner of said casino-resort, Station Casinos, has revealed that they’re now looking to hire potential workers for the upcoming November 20th opening, a total of 1,200 workers.

The reveal comes at the same time as the latest recruitment website, which is accessible in both Spanish and English. However, the owner of Durango spares no expense when it comes to finding the right employees, so it also unveiled an unusual commercial about the entire recruitment process, which is good, because in this way it already shows possible employees what it is like to work in the mentioned environment.
The benefits are certainly covered:
During said commercial, there is a man who says that “the environment is friendly and comes with all kinds of benefits, including ?free health care for employees and their family members who make less than $100K per year.”?Furthermore, among the benefits, there is also a paid company retirement, as well as dental and medical centers for workers.
Among the positions available, there are slot attendants, housekeeping, public area porters, table games dealers, security and food and beverage front of house and back of house. However, Station Casinos has once again been awarded the title of “Top Casino Employer” by Nevada’s Top Workplaces, making it a winner for the third year in a row.
Application process:
For all those who are interested in the aforementioned job positions, they may send their applications to the two company’s websites, because the recruitment process will not be carried out at any personal job fair:
- getajobatdurango.com – for English language;
- trabajaendurango.com – for Spanish language.
As for the 15 restaurants scheduled to open inside the casino-resort, the hiring process will start in the coming weeks and will include “job listings sent from the Durango job site.”
Layout of the Durango Casino & Resort:
