The World’s Top Billionaire’s List was recently released by Forbes and placed Sheldon Adelson of the Las Vegas Sands as the top earning of the gaming sector. Adelson made it to the top 20, with a net worth of $31.4 billion and claimed the top spot when it comes to the gaming industry. Adelson made the number 18 spot for the worldwide list with a 13th spot finish for the United States.

Making the top 100 on the list was Lul Che-Woo, a Chinese businessman, who earned 82nd place with an estimated net worth of $11.6 billion. Che-Woo is the owner of Galaxy Entertainment Group and the chairman of the K. Wah Company. The Galaxy Entertainment Group is responsible for the StarWorld Macau, Galaxy Macau and the Grand Waldo Hotel casinos. Two new casinos are in the works for Che-Woo, with the Galaxy Phase II and the Broadway at Galaxy, both in Macau.

The richest woman in Hong Kong, Pansy Ho, made the list at 309th with $6.6 billlion estimated net worth. Pansy is MGM China co-chairman and the?daughter of Stanley Ho. Taking the 306th spot on the Forbes list was the founder of Sankyo, the Pachinko gaming machine business, Kunlo Busujima and family, with $4.5 billion in earnings.

Close behind was Han Chang-Woo and Kirk Kerkorian, tying for 393rd place. Chang-Woo is the Chairman and CEO of Maurhan, the larget pachinko chain in Japan, while Kerkorian is the original MGM Hotel and Casino owner, both having earned $4.2 billion.

PokerStars Co-founder and former Co-owner, Mark Scheinberg, sits at 405th place with $4.1 billion in net worth. In 512th place is Steve Wynn, the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Wynn Resorts Limited. $3.4 billion in net worth was earned by Wynn in 2014. Teddy Sagi, the founder of Playtech, earned $3.3 billion, just under Wynn, to earn 534th place on the list.
