American lottery and gaming machines innovator,?Scientific Games Corporation, has announced that it has rolled out its PlayCentral 54 self-service advance for retailers in the states of Arizona and Pennsylvania.

Self-service convenience:

The Las Vegas-headquartered firm used an official Thursday press release (pdf) to declare its PlayCentral 54 innovation was specifically developed for a prominent retailer in the United States and now serves as the industry’s ‘only low-height player self-service machine.’

Speed superiority:

SG Corp revealed that it first showed off its PlayCentral 54 advance at the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries’ annual conference in September. It moreover stated that the advance was designed to aid retailers’ ‘convenience and speed-of-service’ by featuring ‘a quick shopping cart check-out experience’ that resembles numerous online shops.

Fitting in:

Pat McHugh, Lottery Executive Vice-President for Scientific Games Corporation, proclaimed that his firm’s PlayCentral 54 innovation stands only 54 inches tall in order to complement partners’ existing self-checkout facilities and gives players the ability to purchase a range of games including scratchcards utilizing cash, debit cards and digital solutions such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.

McHugh’s statement read…

“Lotteries continue to modernize by meeting players where they are and how they like to play, whether at their neighborhood grocery or convenience store, at a major big box retailer, at home or on the go with their mobile phones. This project is another example of how well Scientific Games Corporation understands and can meet lottery retailers’ specific needs and offer lottery players the same conveniences that they have with many other consumer products in their lives.”
