France’s largest casino operator, Groupe Partouche (PARP:FP), has reportedly won the new public service delegation, running from 2018 to 2036, for the Hyères Palm Casino, according to G3Newswire.

The sole candidate vying for the license, Groupe Partouche has reportedly committed to investing upwards of €15m in an effort to boost the hotel and casino’s revenue potential, according to the news report.

In addition to investing in the renewal of slot machines and equipment, the operator is reportedly interested in rehabbing a banquet room in the casino that isn’t being used in order to make it available to conventions. Partouche also reportedly wants to reconfigure the lobby, create a new restaurant and renovate the auditorium of the venue.

Hyères Palm Casino will reportedly donate 15 percent of its gross gaming revenue to the city.

A spacious hotel and casino in a prominent 19th-century-building (known as “batiment de France” / heritage building), Hyères Palm Casino is situated in the heart of C?te d’Azur in Hyères. The 3-star hotel is located near the Mediterranean Sea and features private terraces overlooking the old town and island. The hotel also features a convention center and the casino features more than 100 slot machines, electronic blackjack terminals, electronic roulette terminals, blackjack, American roulette and La Bataille.
