The?Ohio Casino Control Commission today fined ?Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati?$125,000,?while?Horseshoe Casino Cleveland was hit with a?$50,000 sanction for not upgrading their ?surveillance systems to comply with ?regulations outlined in Ohio Administrative Code. The fines were part of a settlement agreement reached on May 20th and announced the same day. In addition to fines the agreement calls for certain personnel at both casinos to participate in more training.
In each case the commission noted that they had, “found that surveillance coverage of table games did not meet requirements laid out in the Ohio Administrative Code, and the surveillance system’s performance and equipment also did not comply with state regulations.”
Perhaps potentially?more serious violations at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati ?related to credit extensions to persons with incomplete files, and extending credit beyond the limit set in the casino’s internal controls.
Four gaming tables?at?Horseshoe Casino Cleveland were also found to have been put into operation without proper commission paperwork at the time.
