The 2019 World Series of Poker is in full swing, with the King’s Resort in Rozvadov hosting the series during this stop. Several events have already finished up and one of the latest to be completed was Event #13, a €2,500 Short Deck tournament. The event lasted more than 13 hours before Kahle Burns landed the win, earning his second WSOP bracelet in the process!
Day 2:
The second day of this event would start off in the early afternoon hours with players completing one level of late registration before moving forward. In total, 179 players competed in the event. The second day was quick with play, with the field narrowed down to the final table in no time. In the end, it would be Burns and Manig Loeser battling it out in heads-up play in an effort to be named the winner.
The heads-up round during the poker tournament was shorter than expected. In just two hands, the win was determined. Both players were all in and it was Loeser who was at risk. Loeser held K-J off-suit while Burns held A-J of hearts. The board fell A-Q-7-9-7, giving Burns the better hand and the win.

Narrow Miss for Hellmuth:?
The WSOPE has seen several competitors hit the felt in an attempt to build their bankroll with big wins as well as earn gold bracelet bragging rights. Poker pro, Phil Hellmuth, is the best of the best having already earned several gold bracelets and final table finishes in the years of his career. Hellmuth, along with other pros, has been competing in this WSOPE stop, with Hellmuth just barely missing out on bracelet #16 during Event #10.
He made it to heads-up play with Besim Hot, only to miss out on the win, finishing in second place during the tournament. This loss came just after he finished 3rd during Event #5.
