The Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention is the longest running gaming tradeshow in the industry,?having entered into its 33rd year it provides strategies and insight for operators to stay competitive and successful. During the convention, 184 nations come together to meet with industry leaders and learn more about cutting-edge trends. This year, the 2018 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention will take place April 17-20 and will feature more than 350 exhibiting firms. For the first time ever, Las Vegas will play host to the convention, with the Las Vegas?Convention Center?having the honor.

This year’s convention is reportedly expected to be quite large, with the show floor size and the number of companies exhibiting already surpassing last year’s final numbers. Major brands and manufacturers will be on hand that took part in the show in the past along with 40 new companies.

In a press release (pdf),?chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. commented on the upcoming event by stating: “We are so thrilled to be able to showcase the innovation and unique products of so many of the great suppliers for our industry at this year’s Tradeshow. Each year we strive to provide an immersive experience for our members and the gaming community to come together and celebrate the industry while driving the business of gaming forward. This year’s show will provide unprecedented opportunity to source new products and services.”

April 19?and 20 will see exhibiting firms showcasing their latest wares, including food and beverage services, accounting, software, marketing, architecture & design, entertainment, hospitality and more. Returning companies to the event include Scientific Games, Aristocrat Technologies, Merkur Gaming, Everi, Ainsworth Game Technology and more. New companies to showcase their products and/or services during the Convention include Rasilient Systems, Player One Amusement Group, Advantech Corp and more.

During the convention, there will be two days of exhibits along with more than 70 hours of educational sessions, plus certifications and training. Attendees can also take part in three golf tournaments as well as attend the Chairman’s Welcome Reception and Chairman’s Luncheon. The Convention will include special events plus networking opportunities.

Stevens commented further on the upcoming convention by stating: “As we work closely with exhibitors leading up to the show, we have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm regarding the Las Vegas location.
