Gray Wolf Peak Casino is looking to expand, but there have been some concerns raised that the land for the expansion has some sensitive history. In order to dispel these concerns, Chairman Vernon Finley talked with Char-Koosta News. He is the chairman for Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes?who also own the?KwaTaqNuk Casino in Polson, Montana. The land that will be used for the expansion is actually previously used?land according to the news information.
Also as part of the concern is “noise disturbance” but Finley states the land has held concerts, casino events, and other disturbances for years, so to call a new expansion a disturbance that should not occur is really not correct.
Plans are to build a new 40,000 square foot casino on Evaro Hill in Missoula with a restaurant, lounge, hotel, and spa. The casino would hold about 450 slots, up from the current 120 machines.
