Since July, more than 13 building permits have been filed with the City of Reno by the Eldorado, Circus Circus, and Silver Legacy casinos, indicating the three are in line for some major renovations, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Outlined in the permits for changes to the Circus Circus is demolition and remodel work on the Courtyard Buffet, William Hill Race and Sports Book, Sip’s Coffee and Tea Bar, Midway, Bone Yard Cantina, and electrical upgrades by way of 50 LED up-lights to the exterior of both the North Tower and the Sky Tower, as well as the replacement of 23,000 incandescent marquee lights and new 277 volt power and control to new light locations. There are also plans to upgrade the Circus Circus’ sports book.

Several permits filed for changes to the Eldorado Casino describe work for a remodel and the addition of a new pizza pub to be located across from the Brew Brothers pub. Bar Centro also seems to be in line for some demolition work and new seating, according to the news agency.

Changes at the Silver Legacy include the addition of a new deli, as well as a new poker room to be added to the existing casino space. Earlier this month a $2 million upgrade to the sports book at the Silver Legacy was completed.

All three Reno, Nevada properties are owned and operated by Eldorado Resorts Incorporated. The Reno-based company led by family patriarch and founder Don Carano?also operates the Eldorado Resort Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana, Scioto Downs Racino in Columbus, Ohio, Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort in Chester, West Virginia, and Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie, Pennsylvania.?Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno were acquired by the company in Fall of 2015.

The company recently signed a $1.7 billion deal to acquire rival Isle of Capri Casinos Incorporated. The deal includes $929 million of long-term debt held by the company and its subsidiaries. The company has 14 properties including four in Missouri, three in Iowa, two each in Mississippi and Colorado, and one each in Louisiana, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
