BetMGM is now the official sports betting partner of the Washington Nationals, after recently agreeing to an exclusive, multi-year partnership with the Major League Baseball (MLB) team’s owner, Lerner Sports Group.
The Sportsbook is operated by Roar Digital, a joint venture of? MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), which is MLB’s official gaming partner, and Entain, formerly PLC (LSE:GVC).

Terms of the new partnership include the opening of a new BetMGM Sportsbook?at the National League East division team’s home in Washington, D.C., Nationals Park, in the space currently serving as Center Field Social, and a mobile app will launch in a designated area around the Park. Co-branding opportunities and fan-focused campaigns are also part of the deal.
While fans will not be able to access the new Sportsbook while attending a Nationals game, they will, however, be able to place wagers through BetMGM’s mobile app.

Other details of the partnership include BetMGM providing a luxury viewing and sports betting experience at the MGM National Harbor Dugout Club situated on the field next to the team dugout. The perk complements the existing experience at the eight-seat premier luxury sports box.
BetMGM branding will also be featured inside the Navy Yard neighborhood baseball park as well as on the National’s social media and digital platforms. Additionally, members of each partner’s loyalty program, Red Carpet Rewards and MGM Resorts’ M Life Rewards, will receive exclusive benefits created by BetMGM and the Nationals.

Michigan & Virginia launch:
Now live in 11 U.S. states, BetMGM reportedly hopes to launch its mobile sportsbook in Virginia soon, pending regulatory approval. The online sportsbook operated by Roar Digital continues to grow its sports betting platforms and is also expected to launch in Michigan via its MGM Grand Detroit partnership.
